Last month saw the release of the coveted ‘Enjoy By’ double IPA by USA craft beer royalty Stone Brew Co. If you were lucky enough to get your mits on one of the bottles (at $35 a pop) then you will know how good these guys are. Air freighted less than a week from bottling, this baby was super fresh!
Fast forward to today, Stone head brewer Mitch Steele is in Melbourne – with a bunch of fresh kegs in tow – locked and loaded for the launch of Stone in Australia tomorrow night. Richmond’s Slow Beer is kicking it off with a Stone tap takeover from 4pm – 5:30pm with Mitch in store! Get down there to wet your tastebuds. Then, the legends at Foresters Hall, cnr Gertrude and Smith St Collingwood, are hosting the main event – a ticketed tasting of all 5 beers from the range Mitch bought with him – whilst an intimate VIP tasting and education session with Mitch is taking place for 2hrs from 6:30pm. So good!!
Asides from the cranking beers brought by Stone, Foresters Hall invited us to participate in the event – by providing the glassware for the lucky VIP ticket holders. Each person attending the VIP event receives a limited edition Uncle Frank that includes Stone branding! A little momento to take away with you from one of the best nights so far this year!
